Musa Dagh

Musa Dagh is a historic mountain on the Mediterranean coast that holds a profound place in Armenian history. In 1915, the inhabitants of the seven Armenian villages of Musa Dagh heroically resisted the Ottoman army for 53 days. Their courage, unity, and determination became one of the most enduring symbols of the Armenian people's struggle for survival and freedom. The story of Musa Dagh gained international recognition through the novel The Forty Days of Musa Dagh, introducing this remarkable chapter of Armenian history to readers around the world. The design features a historic map of Musa Dagh published in the Armenian newspaper Asbarez in 1908. It is believed to have been drawn by editor and Musa Dagh native Abraham K. Seklemian, preserving the geography and memory of this historic region.
