A Western Armenian word meaning the pursuit of Ararat, uniting the mountain, the spirit of expedition, and Armenian identity.
The back of the design maps the gear of the climb itself: the thermos marked 5,165m (the summit's elevation), the tent at 4,200m, the backpack at 3,400m, each camp along the route.
The Armenian flag comes along regardless of altitude, a reminder of what you carry with you.
